Some of My Favorite

My favorite thing to watch are period films and English literature movie adaptations. 

These are some of my favorites:

 

In the Jane Austen category, my favorite story is Mansfield Park.  But as far as movie adaptations, my favorite is the BBC's 2009 version of Emma starring Romola Garai and Johnny Lee Miller.



 

 

Taking about Mansfield Park, the one adaptation that I have seen of it also stars Johnny Lee Miller.

My second favorite adaptation in Little Dorit.  The book was written by Charles Dickens.  And the adaptation was done by BBC and televised on PBS.
